May 9 (SeeNews) - Romanian online home supply store Neakaisa said on Thursday that its turnover increased by 20% year-on-year in the first three months of 2024, reaching 8.5 million lei ($1.84 million/1.71 million euro).
The improved result came on the back of a 15% increase in the number of collaborations with architects, Neakaisa said in a press release.
The Neakaisa showroom, which opened last year in Bucharest, continued to have a positive impact on the company's revenue. As a result of Neakaisa's product diversification efforts, 10% of the total turnover posted in the review period was generated by products that were not part of the store's catalogue in the prior-year period.
The top cities generating sales for Neakaisa remained Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara, and Constanta in the first trimester of 2024. Also, the average basket value remained unchanged since end-2023, at around 1,880 lei, due to a higher number of orders, as per the statement.
Going forward, the company reaffirmed its objective of achieving an organic growth of 10% at the end of the current year.
Launched in 2014, Neakaisa is a one-stop online store for home improvement with a portfolio of more than 20,000 products.
